What a used 40ft container is good for

  • storage for a business or shop;
  • storing farm machinery, grain sacks or equipment;
  • material storage on large building sites;
  • shipping cargo (CW containers).

Price and delivery

The price of a used 40ft container depends on its grade, quantity and delivery location. It is delivered by a large crane truck or a side loader that sets it down parallel to the truck. Available units are listed under Containers in stock; to compare, see the used 20ft container.

What to prepare for delivery day

Make sure the truck can reach the spot, that there are no power lines or tree branches above it and that the base is level and firm - for example concrete blocks, paving or compacted gravel. Think about which way the container doors should face so that they open easily. Read more in how to prepare the ground for a container.
