New or used? What each grade means
Every container in our list has a grade. A higher grade looks better and can travel by sea. A lower grade costs less and is fine for storage on the ground.

Built for a single sea voyage and practically unused. Valid CSC plate, wind and water tight, in excellent condition.

IICL
Best used grade, light signs of use
IICL is the quality standard used by container leasing companies. Structurally sound, wind and water tight, suitable for sea transport and storage, with a CSC plate. Normal signs of use such as light dents, scratches and touched-up paint are possible.

Fit for sea shipping, visible wear
Fit to carry cargo, structurally sound and wind and water tight, with a CSC plate. Visible signs of use such as dents, scratches, surface rust and patched areas are possible.

Dry inside, for storage on the ground

About colour
What colour will my container be?
Our stock list does not record colours, so we check them for you.
- New containers come in factory colours. Popular ones are anthracite grey (RAL 7016) and light grey (RAL 7035).
- Used containers keep the colour of their last owner, often blue, green, red or beige.
- Choose a preferred colour in your price request. We tell you which containers match and send photos.

Yes. The list comes from our stock system and shows the containers that stand at terminals in Riga. It was updated 27 Oct 2026, 23:03 (Riga time). Containers marked "Arriving" are on their way, and you can reserve them now.
What does "From" mean in the price?+
It is the lowest price we found for this kind of container on Conway's Baltic websites (checked 20 Oct 2026). Most prices are without VAT. Some are for containers in Vilnius or Tallinn. What is the difference between a new and a used container?+
A new (one-trip) container has made only a single voyage and is in near-perfect condition. A used (CW/WWT) container is inspected, wind & water tight and significantly cheaper - ideal for storage.
Do you deliver containers to site?+
Yes. We deliver across Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Scandinavia by road, rail and sea. Over 100 terminal contracts let us find the optimal route.
Can I rent a container instead of buying?+
Yes, we offer flexible short-term and long-term rent with an option to buy later. Contact us for an individual offer.
