About Daikin

Reliability and servicing

Daikin units have few joints where refrigerant could leak, and hot gas defrosting means fewer parts that can fail. The controller - the "brain" of the unit - only needs software updates, usually once every few years. To keep the unit running for a long time, it should be serviced by refrigeration technicians.
